LLC "Lukoil Georgia" is already famous for its social and charitable activities. LLC "Lukoil Georgia" has repeatedly been recognized as the most charitable and community caring company. In 2005 the Company was nominated by the Union of Importers, Producers and Consumers of Petrolium Products as the most charitable organization in the sector of import and sale.
The company covers a wide range of charitable activities. These activities are targeted both to unaccompanied and homeless children, as well as to homes for the elderly and vulnerable families. LLC "Lukoil Georgia" systematically assists financially orphan houses — "Future" and "Recluse".
On 27 December 2006 LLC "Lukoil Georgia" made a charity visit to the Lagodekhi Orphanage. This initiative included New Year gifts, warm winter clothing, and foodstuffs for the orphanage children.
The visit lasted for 3 hours. The children living in the shelter presented a specially prepared program to the guests. The Company "Lukoil Georgia" was accompanied by its advertising personality - Irina Onashvili who sang the song "Tbilisi" together with the children living in the shelter.
The Lagodekhi Orphanage is a boarding school-type institution in which 60 children between 6 to 15 years of age live. These children are mostly from vulnerable and large families.
LLC "Lukoil Georgia" repeatedly voiced similar initiatives. Last year, the Company visited the Surami Orphanage. In January 2006 LLC "Lukoil Georgia" installed a heating system in the Children Maternity Hospital #2.
LLC "Lukoil Georgia" always actively participates in various kinds of social programmes that have been implemented to support the helpless citizens of Georgia. The Company helps a number of citizens to fund expensive operations and rehabilitation courses, as well as a variety of educational, cultural and sport events.
